Senior living guidance · Colorado Springs
Finding the right senior living option shouldn't feel overwhelming.
Aging Springs provides personalized, local guidance to families navigating senior living options in Colorado Springs and the surrounding area.

How Aging Springs helps
You don't have to figure this out on your own.
Finding the right senior living option involves more than comparing communities. Every person has different care needs, preferences, finances, and priorities - and every community is different, too.
Aging Springs provides local, personalized guidance to help you understand your options, narrow the choices, and find communities that are a good fit for your family.
Understand Your Needs
I start by learning about your loved one - their care needs, lifestyle, preferences, budget, and what matters most to your family.
Narrow the Options
I research appropriate communities and help you focus on the options that best match your needs, rather than handing you a long list of places to sort through yourself.
Navigate the Decision
I help you compare communities, arrange tours, and ask the right questions along the way, so you can evaluate your options and make a more informed decision.
Why Aging Springs
Local knowledge. Thoughtful solutions. Personal guidance.
Choosing senior living can involve care needs, finances, family dynamics, location, lifestyle, and a lot of emotion. As a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® and longtime Colorado Springs resident, I bring knowledge of aging and a personal, practical approach to helping families find the right way forward.
Deeply Local
Colorado Springs has been my home for more than 15 years. I know this community and its senior living landscape, and I use that local knowledge to help families find options that fit their needs, priorities, and preferences.
Focused on the Right Fit
There isn't one "best" senior living community for everyone. I take the time to understand what matters to you - care needs, personality, lifestyle, location, finances, and family priorities - and help you find the solution that's right for your situation.
A Problem-Solver at Heart
I love helping people find solutions. When a decision feels complicated or overwhelming, my instinct is to break it down, research the possibilities, ask the right questions, and find a practical way forward.
A steady place to begin
Sometimes you're planning ahead. Sometimes the decision comes sooner than you expected.
A change in health, a fall, concerns about memory, or simply realizing that living at home isn't working as well as it once did can bring new questions about what comes next.
Whether you're planning for the future or facing a decision now, I'll help you understand the options and find a path forward that fits your family's needs.
Explore the possibilities
The right setting begins with understanding the differences.
Senior living is not one-size-fits-all. I help you understand how the different options work, what each offers, and which may be a good fit for your family's needs.
Independent Living
For older adults seeking community, convenience, amenities, and a more maintenance-free lifestyle.
Assisted Living
For those who want to remain as independent as possible while receiving support with daily needs.
Memory Care
Specialized communities designed to support people living with Alzheimer's disease or another form of dementia.
Residential / Personal Care Homes
Smaller residential settings that offer a more intimate environment and personalized daily support.
Life Plan Communities (CCRCs)
Communities offering multiple levels of living and care on one campus, often designed for people planning for both their current lifestyle and future care needs.
General descriptions only; individual services and care levels vary by provider.

A personal approach
Guidance should feel human, not transactional.

About SusieA few helpful answers
Questions are a good place to start.
When should we start exploring senior living?
You don't need to wait for a crisis. Starting earlier gives you more time to understand the options, compare communities, and make a thoughtful decision. I can also help when a decision needs to be made more quickly.
How does Aging Springs get paid?
For many assisted living and memory care placements, Aging Springs is compensated by the community, so there is no placement fee to the family. For communities that do not pay referral fees, including many Life Plan Communities (CCRCs), I offer private consulting services. Any fees will always be discussed with you in advance.
Will you come with us on community tours?
Yes. I can coordinate and join you on community tours, help you know what to look for, ask important questions, and compare the options afterward.
Do you work for the senior living communities?
No. Aging Springs is an independent senior living placement and advisory service. My role is to help you find an option that fits your loved one's needs, preferences, budget, and priorities.
What areas do you serve?
I work with families exploring senior living in Colorado Springs and the surrounding area.
